Our research team studies all available literature on a specific topic to create impact statements, which describe one effect of a substance on a bodily structure or function and are written to conform to the FDA's DSHEA structure/function guidelines. An example of an impact statement is: 'Chondroitin sulfate may play a role in supporting healthy joint movement and performance.' BioValidity grades each of the impact statements to reflect the strength of scientific research completed to evaluate the statement. In addition, abstract summaries, scientific citations, and interactions and precautions are also referenced to complete a more in-depth analysis of the substance.
